Vintage Wooden Lobster Buoy [Handmade in the USA]
Bring some New England heritage into your home. Our Vintage Lobster Buoys are handmade in the USA and work great as a rustic bookend, a front-door hanger, or an accent anywhere in your home or yard.
New England Heritage
Long before they became coastal decor, lobster buoys were working tools. Each lobsterman painted his own colors and pattern so he could spot his traps bobbing in the cold Atlantic chop, and season after season of salt and sun gave every buoy a weathered character all its own.
This piece captures that exact look. It's handcrafted and hand-distressed in the USA through a 15-step process, with each buoy taking days to make as it's aged to look like it was pulled straight from the Atlantic after decades in the water. The result is so convincing you'd swear it was the real thing, even holding it. No printed reproductions, no factory knockoffs, just genuine craftsmanship made one at a time.
Made to live indoors, it works as a rustic bookend, a front-door hanger, or a leaning accent in any corner, bringing a little coastal New England history and salt air to a lake house, beach cottage, or entryway.
